Pentecost Sunday Parking Lot Praise
Sunday, May 31st 5-6 p.m.
After Jesus’ death and resurrection, before ascending to Heaven, he said he would not leave us alone, but the Holy Spirit would always be with us. Fifty days after his resurrection, was the first Pentecost Sunday, the day the Holy Spirit filled the early church. This year Pentecost Sunday falls on May 31st, fifty days after we celebrated Resurrection Sunday. Since we’ve been apart for several weeks, we would like to gather together, and practicing physical distancing, have a time of worship, scripture reading, sharing testimonies and fellowship.
We ask that everyone follow Pandemic Health and Safety guidelines:
Honor 6’ physical distancing with those outside your family
Since we will be outside, wearing of masks will be up to your own discretion
Refrain from greeting others by contact (no hugs or handshakes for now)
If you, or anyone in your family, has (or had w/in 14 days) any symptoms of sickness, please do not attend
If you are high risk, we advise you not to attend
The Foyer Restrooms will be the only area inside that will be open and available
